About Waqf

From vision to impact

December 2012 marked a significant historical milestone in the ongoing advancement of the education sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain, as His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, may God protect and preserve him, announced the establishment of the Isa bin Salman Educational Charitable Trust, embodying his firm belief that education, raising the level of educational opportunities, and investing in sustainable human competencies are the cornerstones for building a more prosperous future.

In 2013, Royal Order No. (11) of 2013 was issued to establish the Isa bin Salman Educational Charitable Trust, thus transforming the royal vision into an educational institution that continues to support students and empower national talents.

A continuing impact in empowering generations

For over a decade, the Isa bin Salman Educational Charitable Trust has been providing educational opportunities to thousands of talented Bahraini students, through scholarship programs with partner universities locally and regionally.

These programs have enabled students to pursue their academic ambitions in diverse fields, equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge to contribute to building a better future for the Kingdom.

Today, the Trust continues to expand its partnerships and strengthen its strategic relationships with institutions, providing opportunities for future generations of outstanding students and accelerating their academic achievement over the years.

We firmly believe that every student's success is the success of the entire community. The Trust continues to work towards supporting the educational aspirations that contribute to empowering youth and enabling them to reach a brighter future.
